April 2nd - First trip of the year

Had some luck today, even though the water is still cold. Caught and released 5 bass between my father and I. Can't post who caught the largest one though...

It's almost time!!!!

Well it's almost that time of year again. Yep, time to clean up the boat and go fishin'.

Hot water=no striper action?

Just wanted to hear some thoughts about the fishing up at lake arthur. I haven't been having to much luck finding the alewives or the stipers since the water temp is up so high. This must have something to do with it.

The funny part is that when we go up on the lake there isn't as many boats on the water as there used to be. It makes me think that all the guys who know the striper fishing at lake arthur know that the fish aren't there right now.
